Much has been said about the wasteful way in which President Barack Obama spends taxpayer money, especially while jet-setting around the country.
In fact, the numerous trips taken by the president have been estimated to have cost taxpayers more than $44 million, just in the flights back and forth for their vacations.

On Thursday, both Barack and Michelle Obama traveled to Los Angeles, California, not on vacation, but to make appearances on television shows.
There’s just one problem though, a problem that Greta Van Susteren said “makes me sick,” and that is the fact that both Barack and Michelle traveled to L.A. on different flights.
Obama went to L.A. to appear on Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night talk show, while Michelle took part in a taping of Ellen DeGenere’s daytime program.

According to Fox News, Obama’s five hour, coast-to-coast flight on Air Force One, is estimated to have cost around $1 million in taxpayer money, or around $200,000 per hour.
Michelle Obama’s separate flight cost taxpayers roughly $28,000 per hour.
After the taping of the programs, Michelle Obama returned to the White House by herself, while the president did what he does best, fundraising for the Democratic National Committee.
This scandalously corrupt behavior may not rise to the level of some of the other scandalous activity that has occurred during the reign of the Obama regime, but it is a perfect example of how out-of-touch America’s “royals” are with the American people.
In this day and age when the vast majority of American people are putting off or shortening vacations and trips, if they are even able to afford to take a trip in the first place, this is a scandalous waste of taxpayer money.
As a side note, it should also be pointed out that two planes flying back and forth from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles, California, emitted far more carbon pollution than one flight would have, meaning the Obama’s hypocritically did more damage than necessary to the environment that they claim to care so much about.
